We have a one-bedroom apartment and have put our parrot's cage in the bedroom to avoid having him near the kitchen's fumes.
Both my finace and I are wondering if he will pick up any...um...inapporopriate sounds from being in the bedroom with us, and is there anything we can do ...

I have a quaker parrot and I let him out of his cage all day. He usually stays on the perches above his cage but every once in a while he flies to the ground or the couch and walks around and poops. I dont mind him on the carpet ...
